Night Of A Thousand Lights St. Augustine Florida
We took a weekend adventure trip to St. Augustine Florida to see the famous Night of a Thousand Lights in Historic Downtown St. Augustine Florida. We booked an AirBnB for the night and planned dinner, drinks, and fun! St. Augustine is a quick two and a half hour drive from where we live so we took a break from kitchen remodels and headed out on a Saturday morning. We had such a great time and hope you come along for all the sights. We will see ya in the next one!!
Let's Spend a Day in America's Oldest City
There’s music playing from seaside cafes and long-haired retirees driving by on trikes and bikes. There are oodles of people wearing swimsuits with subtle coverups, and the scent of suntan oil wafts on the breeze. Local shops sell brightly colored swimwear and kitschy souvenirs that say things like “Life is better at the beach” while children are chased by their parents as they cross the brick-lined streets. It’s loud, busy, colorful, and entirely St. Augustine, Florida.

We kicked off our festive holiday spirit with a visit to St. Augustine's Nights of Lights event. This tradition takes place starting Nov. 19th, 2022 and lasts until Jan. 31st 2023. The video was actually recorded on opening night and needless to say, there were a lot of people in attendance! We had a blast walking around, checking out the light display and outright exploring the area. Many vendors were offering yummy snacks, drinks and full meals. It is a great way to get in the holiday spirit! Come along as we take a look at one of National Geographic's top 10 light displays!

48 Hours on Florida’s Central Coast: Daytona Beach, Flagler Beach, and St. Augustine
Florida’s Central Coast is a playground of beaches and attractions. While the Kennedy Space Center and the Daytona Speedway are two popular attractions, during our time visiting, we spent our time off the beaten path at some lesser know attractions. The area makes for a perfect long weekend getaway though we had so much fun, we stayed an entire week!
