Salvation Mountain was a dream of Leonard Knight, a man whose mission was to share the universal power of love throughout his lifetime. He dedicated many years to the project of building a mountain and maintaining it for the world to see. Located just outside of the last free place on earth, Slab City, this became known and recognized world wide! Today we explore the mountain and the art of East Jesus, a subsection of Slab City.

Hey Ya'l!! Today I wanted to share a few places in driving distance from Los Angeles. The first is the Salton Sea which used to be an old Hollywood destination until the water turned toxic. I also stopped by Salvation Mountain, an artistic masterpiece curated in the middle of the desert with tons of paint and furniture pieces. The last is Slab City, a man made city in the desert were tons of people are living and creating their own rules.
