A stopped by the Salton Sea in California's Riverside and Imperial Counties on my way home from a cross country rad trip with my Solo Skiff. I was amazed by what I saw at the Salton Sea. From the highly saline bubbly sea itself to the miscellaneous furniture and items at Bombay Ruins to the smoky volcano on the other side of the Salton Sea is was a crazy sight to behold. Easy Day Trips from Los Angeles | Salvation Mountain & Salton Sea
Hey Ya'l!! Today I wanted to share a few places in driving distance from Los Angeles. The first is the Salton Sea which used to be an old Hollywood destination until the water turned toxic. I also stopped by Salvation Mountain, an artistic masterpiece curated in the middle of the desert with tons of paint and furniture pieces. The last is Slab City, a man made city in the desert were tons of people are living and creating their own rules.
