RV Travel Nurse Advice | Where To Next? | Plus a Tiny Home Tour!
With only a few weeks left in Austin, TX, it is time for Victoria to start looking for her next travel nurse assignment. While we mull things over, we take advantage of the beautiful weather and kayak the Colorado River with a view of Austin. Plus, we finally get a tour of one of the tiny homes in Austinβs first tiny home community! When choosing a new travel nurse assignment, there are many factors you have to consider, including money, location, hours per weeks, and length of assignment. Then there is always the factor of housing, or in our case, where to park our RV! This can prove difficult during the winter months, when everyone else has the same idea of chasing warm weather. Skip to 16:17 to see where we are going next!

Why We Screwed Up | RV Park Mistake (Austin, TX) | South Congress Ave |Boots Bars & Broken RV Dreams
We check out one of the most popular areas in Austin, South Congress Ave. Plus, did we make an RV Park mistake? When we first got to Austin we chose Oak Forest RV Park due to itβs affordability. However, today we found Pecan Grove RV Park while we were out exploring. Itβs in the middle of the coolest part in Austin. We ask ourselves the question, did we make an RV Park mistake? We advise making reservations months in advance if you want to stay at Pecan Grove RV park. One thing there is no shortage of in Austin is Food Trucks. We found a really cool spot called Barton Springs Picnic, which typically has 8 different Food Truck options. Our next stop is on all of the βmust visitβ lists in Austin. Allens Boots is Quintessential Texas! Gueroβs Taco Bar always has live music and a really awesome out garden/patio to enjoy. SoCo Cafe was our last stop after a long day of exploring. Get the fried Brie if you stop in. Itβs delicious!
