During a timeout in the second quarter, a physical altercation broke out between Timberwolves player Rudy Gobert and Pelicans player Lee Kaer. Gobert threw a punch at Kaer, which resulted in Gobert being pushed away by his teammate, Jeff Teague. The rest of the players on the court quickly intervened and separated the two.
