Toddler with uncombable hair brings joy everywhere he goes: "Lock's hair immediately makes people smile"
A toddler with blue eyes and a head full of unruly blonde hair that stands straight never fails to draw smiles every time he meets new people. Locklan's unique hair is erratic, fragile, and can't be combed or brushed.
1920 Tavern - Speakeasy Vibe in Roswell
Dinner at 1920 Tavern was a mood! The speakeasy vibe, scarlet quotes on the walls lined with antique mirrors, and live music really made me feel like I was being transported to an earlier era. My favorites: Fried Cheesecake: Cinnamon, Sugar, Chocolate and Creme Fraiche BONELESS SHORT RIB - Beef Short Rib, served with Roasted Butternut Squash and Wild Mushroom Risotto (subbed squash for chargrilled brussel sprouts) 14 oz NEW YORK STRIP - Served with Twice Baked Potato and Broccolini, Topped with Shallot Cognac Sauce, and Beer Battered Onion Ring - 3 (added Mac and cheese) Smoked Old Fashioned Strawberry Fields Pink Starburst @ServingLooksATL showing you where to go next!
Dinnertime at Hugo's Oyster Bar
The food at Hugo's Oyster Bar was so delicious and flavorful to the last bite. If you have been following me since my Cooking with Skye Days you know my favorite food is Cajun/Creole. You know when a place is "cooking good" when they use the Holy Trinity (bell peppers, onion, and celery) - and this restaurant definitely REPRESENTED! It was all so FRESH. My favorites: CAJUN SPRING ROLLS: grilled crawfish, andouille sausage, collard greens, white cheddar, cajun aioli CRAB STUFFED SHRIMP : dirty wild rice, fried okra, green tabasco butter (add: CRAWFISH ÉTOUFFÉE:) GULF REDFISH: served with beurre blanc, golden potatoes, and market vegetable (add jumbo lump crab bearnaise and truffle mac and cheese) I will be back for brunch on the weekends. Follow: @ServingLooksATL for more content to sink your teeth into! Which entree would you try the crab stuffed shrimp or gulf redfish?

Dinner on the patio: Vaskouzina in Roswell
Dinner on Vaskouzina's patio on a sunny Spring day was everything I needed and more! First I tried the Alpharetta Location and the food was so delicious I had to try the Roswell location next. Vaskouzina has true Greek cooking with a modern flair. As soon as you walk in it feels like you are dining with family. The patio has an open concept. Vaskouzina is the perfect place this Spring and Summer for a lunch date, to take your out-of-town friends, and even just to enjoy time alone with a glass of wine and fresh air! What I enjoyed:
Bayou Q Debuts New Spring Menu
Bayou Q's is "Where Bourbon Street 'meats' Canton Street!" I was so satisfied with my first visit on Mardi Gras that I had to visit again. This time I tried their NEW spring menu and I am impressed. Can you guess what these dishes are? Hint:@ bayouqroswell is known for their AUTHENTIC Louisiana/Creole food AND BBQ. It is all made in-house all the way down to the meat that is smoked on-site.
