Schoolteacher humiliates student with a disability
**This article is based on nonfiction by actual events I witnessed firsthand; used with permission. As a mother to several children with serious medical issues, I've befriended others in similar situations. In our small town, one of my friends has a son who survived bone cancer after they amputated one of his legs.

Opinion: Does Respect Begin at 45?
According to Business News Daily, "Employees who are disrespected by their co-workers feel more comfortable treating others the same way, which ends up creating a toxic workplace."
Opinion: I want to be respected more than anything in my life.
I want to be respected more than anything in my life, so I'm so annoyed by disrespectful people. They don't care about others and enjoy treating them poorly. They make me angry and upset, but I don't know how to deal with them.

Opinion: My Narcissistic Family Demanded Respect, But Never Showed Respect

A day in the life of a Nurse
This is a firsthand view of a day in the life of a healthcare worker. A plea, a notice, a topic so common and often heard but goes unnoticed at times. A shower starts the day, followed by a cup of coffee as one walks around gathering necessities for the 12-hour shift- badge, license, lunch, water container filled to the brim in the hopes to get hydrated this time around as yesterday, breaks were a luxury never given fully. The concept of so little time couldn't be any truer.
Mocking a Spouse Is Disrespectful
Couple laughingPhoto by Krishna Studio from Pexels. In the beginning of our relationship it didn't appear to be mocking. It almost felt playful and lighthearted. My husband and I loved to laugh. What could be the harm in this type of good-natured ribbing? He didn't seem to mind and neither did I?
A type of friendship that nurtures growth and support
I keep a very small group of close friends. I have a number of acquaintances and work associates with whom I speak to regularly, we share tidbits of our personal lives with each other and even socialize on occasion, however, my inner circle are people that really know me on a deeper level is very limited.
