# Rv life
In 2020 we met Talmange and Ashanti Grace, also known as Adventure Bandits. Adventure Bandits are what you call "most timers". Not full time rvers, but that are on the road most of the time. They have been growing a YouTube community around RV life and this year they held their first meet up and called it a Glampout. This meet-up took place at the Cardinal Center Campgrounds in Marengo, Ohio. This first meet up for the Adventure Bandits brought 400 Rvers together, and many other YouTube channels!
Celebrating 106th Birthday to the National Park Services
The newest National Park is nestled in the remote mountains of West Virginia, New River Gorge. Once holding the record for longest arched bridge till 2003, that's a big bridge! What once took 45 minutes to cross now takes less than 45 seconds to cross. We take you along the Fayette Station Road Tour. Which is an 8 mile road that has hairpin turns and a narrow bridge crossing. Along the way we share a couple local restaurants in Fayetteville WV. August 25th, 2022 National Park services will be celebrating their birthday. What better way to celebrate than by sharing this experience with you! What national parks do you love?
Austin TX | Must Do's and Cool Spots
Our goal is to show you as much of the fun activities & sights in Austin, TX before Victoria’s 1st Travel Nurse contract is over. Hey, documenting our experiences also gives us an excuse to keep pushing to find new adventures! We went on a hunt to get some Instagram worthy photos with some of the best known murals and landmarks in Austin. Check out the @projectrvlivinglost Instagram page to checks out some of our pics! Downtown 6th Street has a bit of a Nashville vibe. Just take a stroll down the street to take it all in or pop into a bar to hear some of Austin’s local musicians. The Oasis @ Lake Travis offers stunning views of the lake and rolling Texas hills. This spot is worth the short drive! Victoria is trying to decide where she wants to except her next Travel Nursing contract. Maybe you can help us decide? We are currently between New Mexico and Arizona. What are your recommendations? On the next episode, we announce where we will be headed for our next RV adventure.
Best RV Park? We may have found it in Texas Hill Country!
The first half of our weekend was a major success, but we had to decide how we were going to spend the rest of it. We decided on the beautiful town of Marble Falls! But first, we have one last night in Fredericksburg. We eat some authentic German food, stop in an unexpected German heavy metal bar, end our night with some music and new friends at the Pioneer Bar. It would take a long time to see everything Fredericksburg has to offer, and there is no way we won’t be back to visit! Now to Marble Falls… another beautiful town in the Hill Country of Texas full of shops and restaurants. Sunset Point RV Park lives up to its name, and you’ll see why this is our favorite RV Park so far! Our last stop was to Lakeside park which puts on a beautiful show at the Walkway of Lights. For Thomas, ice skating came back just like riding a bike. For Victoria, it also was just like riding a bike...but she has never been great at that either!

Our Neighbors Were Loud Last Night
Those dang cows! We were cracking up!
Our First Time Boondocking (at a blueberry farm) 🫐
When we first started living in an RV full-time a lot of people suggested boondocking to save money. Sounded like a great plan, until we realized we weren't sure how to actually use our generator 😳 watch as we go from blissfully picking blueberries to stressing real quick. It's all part of the learning process right?
A Guide to RV Life
1. What do we do for WiFi? We each have 30 gigs of a mobile hotspot with Verizon. We also have unlimited data hotspot with T-Mobile. We also have a weboost which is a cell signal booster antenna.
Why We Screwed Up | RV Park Mistake (Austin, TX) | South Congress Ave |Boots Bars & Broken RV Dreams
We check out one of the most popular areas in Austin, South Congress Ave. Plus, did we make an RV Park mistake? When we first got to Austin we chose Oak Forest RV Park due to it’s affordability. However, today we found Pecan Grove RV Park while we were out exploring. It’s in the middle of the coolest part in Austin. We ask ourselves the question, did we make an RV Park mistake? We advise making reservations months in advance if you want to stay at Pecan Grove RV park. One thing there is no shortage of in Austin is Food Trucks. We found a really cool spot called Barton Springs Picnic, which typically has 8 different Food Truck options. Our next stop is on all of the “must visit” lists in Austin. Allens Boots is Quintessential Texas! Guero’s Taco Bar always has live music and a really awesome out garden/patio to enjoy. SoCo Cafe was our last stop after a long day of exploring. Get the fried Brie if you stop in. It’s delicious!
Cockroach Invasion in our Camper 😳
A nightmare we didn't expect in South Carolina 😳 we realized we had cockroaches everywhere that would not go away, and this was not something we were mentally prepared for, for the RV lifestyle. 😳 Part 1
Cookout and Cocktails
Sharing our favorite meals on the blackstone, as well as a tasty Cocktail
Austin Outdoor Parks and Trails | Barton Creek Greenbelt, Barton Springs, Zilker Park
We start to explore all the outdoor adventures Austin, TX has to offer! First stop is Barton Creek Greenbelt which at first looks to be an easy hike, but looks can sometimes be deceiving. We got lost. When you think of a Natural Spring, you don’t expect the type of setup they have at Barton Springs Pool. Around 800,000 people visit the natural spring every year. Puppy adventure time! We bring the dogs out to Latta Branch Greenway for a hike. It was a perfect plan B. We only went to take some pictures but were pleasantly surprised to see so many people out and about enjoying themselves at Zilker Park. Hang with the dogs, have a catch, listen to some music, ride the bike trial or do some kayaking. Zilker Park has it all. Our last stop was not far from our RV Park. Walter E. Long Lake is a beautiful place to catch a sunset!
RV Texas (San Antonio) | Riverwalk & The Alamo
We make a trip in our RV to San Antonio for Halloween. But first we make a stop in the Hill Country of Texas. The Blue Bonnet Cafe is nationally recognized for its pies! You know what pairs well with rosé? Disc golf! We go to Flat Creek Winery for Wine Tasting and Disc Golf. Easily one of the most unexpected and entertaining combinations. Time to head to San Antonio for some Halloween fun. We go to the 13th Floor Haunted House. It was so much fun! The Riverwalk is one of the most iconic parts of San Antonio. The Go Rio boat tours are the best way to learn the history of the area! Remember the Alamo! No San Antonio trip is complete without a visit to this iconic historic site. Right down the street, the San Fernando Cathedral offers a free light show on the side of the building called The Saga. It shows a visual history of San Antonio and Texas. We were blown away!

We Already Broke Our RV! | RV Renovations | RV Newbie Fix Ups and Mess Ups
We are showing you some small tweaks and fixes we have complete on our RV to make it our own. Unfortunately, not all has gone according to plan. We accidentally drilled through the RV wall while trying to install a TV mount! Thankfully we have run into minimal issues since moving in a few months ago, but it is already becoming clear that our spirit of DIY-ness and Victoria’s affinity for power tools will come in handy on our travels. They said our King-sized memory foam mattress wouldn’t fit. We proved them otherwise. Clothing was one of the most difficult categories for us to downsize in. We have the closet space, but we make a couple of modifications to utilize it better. Our first homeowners problem - the water heater is leaking! Before we spend money calling a repair man, Victoria sees what she can rig up herself with supplies from Home Depot.
