Sourdough Starter - Day 3
I did not feed the starter on the second day because it did not look any different. On day 3, I saw air bubbles and the starter had risen. Discard half of the starter. Add 50g of unbleached all purpose flour, 50g of whole wheat flour, and 100g water. Stir well, cover with a lit and store in a warm place until tomorrow.

Due to changes in Newsbreak's thinking on videos they are asking content creators to limit their videos to 1-3 minutes. While that is doable for some, for a cooking show I can’t see a way to make it happen without leaving out some key factors like the prep and cooking for the recipes. So I’m working on videos that are short and sweet and meet NewsBreak requirements. You may not get the full experience of the prep and cook, but you’ll see the finished product and the recipe will be in the snow notes. I hope you understand and will continue to follow us.

I’ve talked about it before. I have a peanut and sesame seed allergy. It causes me to not go to certain Asian restaurants that I always enjoyed prior. I’ve learned ways to enjoy Asian food without a peanut sauce, but it isn’t the same. I’ve come to rely on alternatives and they work. Here are a few ways to do that.

5 Minute Peaches and Yogurt Breakfast
Yogurt and Peaches - Dice peaches and add a squeeze of lemon. Set aside. In a different bowl, add yogurt of choice, chia seeds, honey or sweetener of choice, and vanilla. Mix then top with diced peaches. Optional is whipped cream on top ☺️
