Concerns Increasing As Russia Bans Fuel Exports Ahead Of Winter Months
Russia has instituted an indefinite fuel export ban to all countries except for four members of the Russian-led Eurasian Economic Union, which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The fuel ban comes in the wake of expanding shortages of both gasoline and diesel in recent months, which have caused domestic prices of these fuels in Russia to spike. These shortages have come in part due to difficulties in maintaining oil refineries in the country, as well as the weakness of the Russian currency, the rouble, which has continued to suffer due to the sanctions levied against the regime for launching the war against Ukraine. Worst impacted have been Russians living in the southern part of the country, who rely on these fuels in order to harvest their crops.
Russia Violates UN Security Council Resolutions to Gift Kim Jong Un Military Drones
As North Korean leader Kim Jong Un returns to his country from Russia, where he engaged in diplomatic talks likely surrounding a potential new arms deal with Russia, the dictator brought home a number of gifts from his neighbor to the north. Some of these gifts are simple things, like a cosmonaut's glove and a fur hat. Others are more militaristic in nature, including military drones that outright violate UN Security Council sanctions levied against North Korea for its dogged pursuit of more powerful nuclear weapons. Sanctions that Russia itself had a role in signing. Whether or not this will help lead to a new arms deal between the two countries has yet to be determined.

Putin Defends Trump Amidst Mounting Legal Troubles
Russia’s leader Vladimir Putin came out to label the efforts to pin Trump down for his alleged crimes as ‘political prosecution’ on Tuesday, 12th August. Trump’s various misdemeanors – from lying about his net worth for personal gain to inciting national insurrection with a single Tweet – have earned him four separate indictments over the year. Despite evidence against him, the ex-president insists that he’s done nothing wrong. And Putin seems to agree.

A Genocidal Message from Moscow
The Kremlin sends another grisly message written in blood. If anyone was still wondering why the United States and our European allies are arming and supporting Ukraine, the Kremlin delivered a potent, blistering reminder in the form of a missile attack that turned a crowded market in Kostyantynivka into a scene of fiery devastation and death yesterday. The strike reportedly killed at least 17 civilians, and was impossible to justify in any military, political, or moral sense. It was genocidal terror, and thus typical of the Kremlin’s insane war of aggression in Ukraine, which has been one prolonged episode of genocidal violence.

The planned rendezvous with Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to focus on escalating military cooperation between the two nations, particularly the possibility of North Korea supplying Russia with weaponry for its ongoing war in Ukraine. "Arms negotiations between Moscow and Pyongyang are actively advancing," said National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson. She urged North Korea "to cease its arms negotiations with Russia and abide by the public commitments that Pyongyang has made to not provide or sell arms to Russia."

Russian Mercenary Leader Yevgeny Prigozhin Believed Dead In Plane Crash
Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the powerful Russian mercenary group Wagner, has been listed as being dead following the crash of his plane to the north of Moscow on Wednesday. His death comes two months to the day following the abortive mutiny he led against the Russian military leadership, ostensibly for their poor leadership in their ongoing war against Ukraine. Regardless of its stated aim, the mutiny was widely seen around the world as the most serious challenge to the reign of President Vladimir Putin.
Wagner Chief Yvegeny Prigozhin presumed dead? More like a ghost tactic.
Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin was on the passenger list of a jet which crashed killing all 10 passengers on board. A private plane belonging to Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin crashed in Moscow's Tver region, killing all ten people on board, the Russian emergency services said Wednesday. Russia's aviation agency says Prigozhin was on board. Reports of the crash came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed to end Russia’s occupation of the Crimea peninsula and all other areas that Moscow controls in his country.
Yevgeny Prigozhin Dies Fiery Death
It was curious. Only days after Yevgeny Prigozhin had humiliated Vladimir Putin, capturing the southern military headquarters in the city of Rostov-on-Don and marching an armed column toward Moscow, the mercenary boss was reportedly moving around freely between St. Petersburg and Moscow. He was supposed to be sequestered in Belarus with his Wagner fighters, according to the deal supposedly brokered by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, but he wasn’t.
