Subjects Arrested In Hunt/Hopkins Counties Overnight For Evading Arrest And Deadly Conduct Discharge Firearm
Overnight several Hunt County Deputies responded to the Campbell area for reports of a Grey Dodge Charger driving around and shooting out of the window. With several officers in the area, additional calls came into 911 stating the same thing, that there was a vehicle driving around the Campbell area shooting out of the window. After further investigation nearby residents located bullet holes in their homes and vehicles.

A high-speed police pursuit that began in Roland, Oklahoma ended in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at around 1:02 PM thanks to the action of a local police officer. Suspect In Custody After Leading Officers On A Multi County Pursuit
On May 3, 2023, just before 11:00PM, Hopkins County Dispatch advised of a pursuit entering their County from Hunt County. Dispatched advised Greenville PD was pursuing a Black Chrysler 300C. The pursuit was I-30 Eastbound near the 101 mile marker at the time Hopkins County units were notified. Per scanner traffic Greenville Officers terminated the pursuit near the 104 mile marker, after the Chrysler pulled to far away from officers.

On Saturday, just after midnight, Deputy T. Steward with the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for defective equipment. When the Deputy activated his lights and siren, the vehicle took off East on Houston Street at a high rate of speed, refusing to stop. The vehicle turned left & turned right, as the deputy stayed hot on his trail. The suspect vehicle approached Loop 301 and continued eastbound before hitting a ditch, coming to a stop in a creek. The suspect identified as Allen Hurst Davis III, took off on foot after wrecking out.

In Titus County a Texas DPS Trooper was able to us a pit maneuver and disable the vehicle in the area of the 164-mile marker of I-30.

Suspect Leads Rockwall County Officers On A Multi County Pursuit In A Stolen Land Rover
Rockwall County units got into a pursuit late Tuesday night with a stolen Land Rover. The suspect led officers on a pursuit with speeds reaching 100+. The chase entered into Hunt County on I-30EB with Hunt County joining the pursuit. County units had a successful spike near the 97 mile marker of I-30EB. The vehicle continued on into Hopkins County on a front flat tire.
