Train Depot in Plains, Georgia - Former Media Headquarters During Jimmy Carter Presidential Run
We visited the Plains Depot, a former train station that was turned into the media headquarters during the 1976 Jimmy Carter Presidential run. It was chosen because it was the only available building with a restroom at the time. This former train station is now a museum.
