Wednesday on General Hospital Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) gave the order for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) and Lucy Coe (Lynne Herring) to be killed. Anna however turned the tables on their captors who perished as she, Valentin, and Lucy escaped. When a very distraught Ms. Coe demanded a cell phone to call "Marty" (Martin Grey/Michael E Knight) she was shut down and told that everyone thought they were dead so they had to pretend to be.

Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Adam Huss has returned to tape the final scenes as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. Huss has stepped in twice before when Marcus Coloma was dealing with Covid-19. GH viewers have been waiting to find out the fate of the Cassadine Prince ever since it was reported that Marcus Coloma was fired from the role. When he got the news the actor was said to have refused to tape his final scenes but a representative for Coloma said he did not walk off without taping his last episodes.

The Ashford-Robinson clan is getting on the fans' nerves. General Hospital viewers know there are no perfect families in real-time or in Port Charles. For this reason, a number of viewers are expressing their utter disgust with the way Curtis Ashford's (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson's (Brooke Kerr) blended clan is being portrayed, Curtis and Portia purchased a beautiful home and his father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gosset) and her daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) live with them. A few fans commented that they don't like to see the family on screen together and a number of others agreed. This is not racism but based on the storyline and some African American GH viewers agree.

On General Hospital the fallout from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) withholding the fact that Willow Tate is Nina Reeves's ( Cynthia Watros) daughter will continue to cause problems. Nina and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are furious and have ripped into Carly because of her decisions and Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison) is extremely disappointed in her. Nina was bent on revenge but Liesl Obrecht (Kathlene Gati) talked her own for now.

Last week on General Hospital Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chaves) told Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about Maggie the nanny who raised EMaggisme Prince (Avery Kristan Pohl). This name has come up a number of times and perhaps now she might show up in Port Charles. Esme's saga has an expiration date and hopefully when that time comes all the dots will be connected and this mystery woman will be revealed.

Spoilers for General Hospital indicate the next two weeks will be action-packed with the walls closing in on some of your favorite Port Charles residents. Time is running out and difficult decisions will have to be made as lives are on the line. General Hospital is carefully setting Dr. Robinson up for a big fall and fans say she will deserve it.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has finally revealed that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is the biological mother of Willow Tait (Katelynn McMullen) and shockwaves have already begun. Drew Cain (Cameron Matthison) is already having trouble dealing with how manipulative his new girlfriend is and Nina really hit the roof when she found out how long Carly withheld the secret which was an entire year. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard ) was grilling Drew on Friday just as Carly walked up and she will now have to face his wrath.

General Hospital is celebrating 60 years on the air in 2023 and will be going all out for the big event. Jane Elliott will reprise her role as Tracy Quartermaine and there will be a special tribute to Sonya Eddie (Epiphany Johnson) who passed away in December. GH fans were wondering why Elliott did not return during the holiday season as she had previously since retired so perhaps she was waiting for the anniversary episodes. Epiphany was head nurse and always performed at the annual Nurses Ball which will return in April after a 2-year hiatus.

On General Hospital both Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have withheld information that affected others. Nina kept Sonny Corinthos ( Maurice Benard) away from his family for 9 months when he had amnesia and Carly has gone above and beyond to make sure Willow Tait (Katelynn MacMullen) never finds out that Nina is her birth mother. Now Willow has stage 4 leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant fast and Carly is forced to admit the secret she has been hiding but which woman will viewers cast as the villain?

General Hospital fans have been wondering when the truth about Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) being the bio dad of Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will come to light. The writers seem to be putting the pieces together although it is taking an unusually long time. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) had her DNA tested and found out that she had a relative in Port Charles but this was pushed to the back burner when Stella also found a relationship in London and left town for a long time to visit.

As we enter 2023 it has been close to a year since soap vet Leslie Charleson has been seen on General Hospital. Her popular character Monica Quartermaine was recast with Holly Kaplan for a few episodes and never more was shown. Soaps in-Depth reported last summer that Charleson was placed on recurring status but she did not show up in Port Charles again and was only briefly mentioned.

Soaps in Depth is reporting that ABC will not air an episode of General Hospital on Monday, January 2 because of a football game but on Tuesday Port Charles will be filled with action. General Hospital Blog reveals that Kelly Thiebaud headed to London after her final scenes on GH and her character Britt Westbourne walked out on her own birthday party Friday. What is not known is whether or not this is the last time we see the character. Britt could ride off into the sunset to parts unknown, be kidnapped or hooked by the killer.

The Cassadine curse strikes again in different ways. On General Hospital Ava Jerome (Maura West) has unofficially adopted Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as her replacement for her own daughter Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) who was murdered by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). The two have the unfortunate connection ofbeing in love with two Cassadine men father and son Nikolas ( Marcus Coloma) and Spencer (Nichkolas Chaves).Both women are now experiencing the results of what Port Charles residents call the Cassadine curse although it comes in difference forms.

What this means for General Hospital’s dark prince isn’t known at this time. Marcus Coloma assumed the role of Nikolas Cassadine in the fall of 2019 and has been mostly on the front burner ever since his debut. Now, the actor’s time in Port Charles has come to an end.

Dex Heller (Evan Hofler) came to Port Charles off the ground and running and immediately in the thick of things on General Hospital. v At the same time viewers were troubled over the lack of Brando Corbin's (Johnny Wactor) presence because the character was never fully developed. Brando seemed to always be in the shadow of his celebrity wife Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattison) and her substance misuse issues and his overbearing mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

When Emma Samms first reappeared in Port Charles as Holly Sutton her General Hospital castmate Tristan Rogers gave an interview with Soap Opera Digest where he spoke about this storyline only involving veteran actors. He also teased there would be a major veteran character behind what happened to Holly and fans were going to love it.

General Hospital fans have been concerned about the status of two long-time fan-favorite cast members on the ABC soap because their characters have not been on screen in a while but Finola Hughes and Lynn Herring have each given interviews that let fans know exactly where their characters stand at this time.
