South Texas Inshore Fishing Report for the week of May 16, 2022
· Redfish – Great. Redfish are moving in shallow water in the potholes. The minimum is 20” and the maximum is 28”. The bag limit is three per person per day. · Speckled Trout – Great. Anglers are finding Speckled trout around rock structures. The minimum is 17” and the maximum is 23”. The bag limit is three per person per day. These regulations are for areas South of FM 457.
"Bucket List" 9.5-foot Tiger Shark caught in Port Aransas, Texas
A San Antonio angler experienced the catch of a lifetime when he landed a 9.5-foot Tiger Shark. The Palms RV Park
Small little RV park in Aransas Pass. It was not in the prettiest of neighborhoods but the park itself was great. Felt safe and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a 45 minute drive from Port Aransas just over the free ferry boat.
