Aurora committee gives pigs cool reception
(Aurora, Colo.) Ducks, maybe. Pigs, no. An Aurora City Council committee offered that directive last week for keeping livestock as pets in residential neighborhoods. Some residents in recent months have asked council members whether it's permissible to keep ducks or small pigs in town.

It’s Triplets for Juno, Houston SPCA’s Potbelly Pig - And You Can Name Them
Ever since the Houston SPCA took in a pregnant Vietnamese potbelly pig in December, the staff has been preparing for her to give birth. Juno, named for the Goddess of Love, Marriage, and Childbirth, got styled for a maternity shoot and was fed snacks to keep her still for her ultrasounds. Of course, she couldn't have gotten far as her belly was dragging the ground.
