During the National Football League season, numerous underperforming teams will either replace their head coach during the season or at the end of the season. The Carolina Panthers decided to fire their head coach Matt Rhule in week 5 after a 1-4 start to their NFL Season.

The Panther's offense has been bad all year. The Panther's 10–24 loss to the Rams was a new low even for them. The Panthers scored a field goal on their first drive of the game, and their offense failed to score again. Their 203 total yards were even below their season average of 260 yards per game. That average, by the way, ranks them dead last in the entire NFL.

The Panthers were competitive but it wasn't enough. Kyler continues his undefeated streak against Baker, and Hollywood Brown begins to look like a legit number one receiving option. Things will be very interesting when Deandre Hopkins returns.

The Carolina Panthers had a rough start to the 2022 Season. They dropped the first two games, which brought their losing streak to 9 games overall, the longest active streak in the league.

The Giants move to 2-0, a hot start for a usually .500 team. We'll see if they're able to maintain it down the stretch. They're defense has been playing good and the offensive play calling has been a lot better than it was last year, as long as everyone can stay healthy they look to be a definite threat within the division at lest. The Panthers continue to come up short, it seems like they still need time to gel offensively. Defensively they aren't playing too bad but soon they'll have to get on one accord.

Jacoby Brissett played well enough to get the win, but it was the Browns running backs that dictated this game. Nick Chubb had a dominating performance posting 141 rushing yards on 22 caries, with Kareem Hunt adding a total of 70 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Baker Mayfield didn't play terrible but they'll have to clean up some mistakes, build better chemistry with he and the receiving core, and hope Christian McCaffery can stay healthy and this offense will have big potential.

A surprising blowout, although the Panthers did play some starters. The Bills have looked really good this preseason displaying a lot of depth on both sides of the ball. Baker Mayfield looked solid, and with the unfortunate injury of Sam Darnold his position looks to be much more secure.

The Patriots looked pretty well rounded and smothered the Panthers handsomely on both sides of the ball. The QB battle seems to still be in the air and with Matt Corral out possibly for the year the conversation and competition is much thinner and someone will have to be named soon.

In the villages and towns around Northwest Louisiana each community has a local hero or legend. The village of Doyline lost one on August 6, 2022. “Coach” James Roach left this world and a heartbroken community of Doyline. The legendary coach took the Doyline Panthers to a state championship in 1967 and four state runner-ups. In his last season in 1995, the Panthers were state runner-up for the second year in a row. Coach had accumulated 865 wins in his three-decade career.

This move would have made the world a difference for the New England Patriots. Robby Anderson would have been a true deep threat for Mac Jones, and would have been a big upgrade over Nelson Agholor.
