Opinion: There's a reason you should welcome goosebumps
Goosebumps, those little prickly-pox that pepper your skin when you feel a chill, have a more exciting reason to make an appearance than to just make you aware that the temperature around you has dipped. Besides, have we not evolved beyond an extra mechanism to let us know when we’re cold?
Opinion: School systems should include meditation as part of daily curricula
Mother and children practicing meditation.Artem Podrez, pexels. Meditation must be taught as a subject in our public schools. It could be one of the best and easiest opportunities for a lot of children to grow into well-meaning, empathetic, connected adults.
Opinion: Bad bosses who abuse their employees keep people out of the workforce
*This is a work of nonfiction and opinion based on actual events I experienced firsthand; used with permission.*. I’ve had more than my fair share of terrible bosses. That is the number one thing that is keeping me from applying to even more places than I already have in the past few months— the more keep thinking about it and the more I keep getting closer to the workforce, the more I am reminded about my horrible bosses and how I said I’d never take crap from one again.

Opinion | Kathy Barnette Is Clear Winner of Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate Debate
Conservative commentator and veteran Kathy Barnette clearly won the Pennsylvania Republican U.S. Senate Debate on April 25, 2022. While Mehmet Oz and David McCormick were attempting to defend their questionable loyalties, Barnette offered clear solutions for Pennsylvania and America. She did, however, take an opportunity to share her thoughts on her out-of-state opponents when she said, “I don’t make many promises on the campaign trail, but I can promise the people of Pennsylvania that when these carpetbaggers lose, you will never see them again. And if they should win, you will never see them again!”

Opinion: Salary Talk: Taboo or Necessary?
Companies claim that it's taboo to talk to your coworkers about salary. However, knowing what your colleagues make is a great way to understand your worth to your job. In the business world, it is often said that talking about salary is taboo. Companies discourage employees from discussing salaries, as this can lead to envy and bitterness within the workplace. While this may be true to some extent, discussing compensation with your coworker is actually a perfect way to understand your value to a company. Discussing salaries is really no different than discussing your job duties or the number of hours you work each week. It's simply a way to get insight on what we're earning and how that compares to others in our field. Talking about salary should not be seen as taboo.
