Fishing the Double Tube Bait on 3-Way Swivel Rig | 2 for 1 Rockfish & Halibut | Winter 2022
One of my new favorite rigs to go with when fishing San Diego during the winter time is the double tube bait plastic lures on 3-Way swivel. I was able to catch 2 for 1 rockfish (2 rockfish on 1 drop) in addition to a 23" keeper halibut when drifting the rig along the bottom near the Point Loma Kelp. Life is good! Thanks for watching!

Diving Sea Lion at La Jolla Cove, San Diego !
A huge high reef packed with about 60 Sea Lions was isolated high above the ocean surface after an extreme high tide followed by a low tide. The Sea Lions were hualing out in the sun but making quite the ruckus as they realized they were about 10ft above the water. Little by little the larger Sea Lions wobbled there way to the lowest part of the reef and jumped into the water with a big splash ! Enjoy. Rough conditions at Seal Rock, Laguna Beach, California !
Not all dives are in the best conditions, especially in Sourthern California with constant waves, wind and rough currents. This day the waves were big but the visibility was still good. Beautiful kelp swaying, many calico bass and large waves crashing on the rocks. Join me as we dive right in ! Laguna Beach, California / Kelp Forest at Seal Rock
One of my favorite Southern California locations to explore below the surface is Seal Rock of Laguna Beach ! Located at the north end of Crescent Cove and about 150 yards from shore, it's an easy location to access with a brisk swim with cool terrain the entire route. My favorite area of this adventure is the Kelp Forest in between Seal Rock and the shallow reefs.
