Big news Florida! A zoning request was just placed to build a brand new Buc-ee’s service station in Ocala, Florida!

Pride Image(via Ocala Pride) Though June is celebrated as Pride Month and Pride festivals are usually held then, down here in the south, several cities hold their Pride events in the cooler temperatures of fall, and Ocala’s is one of them. Pride is dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ voices, celebration of LGBTQ culture and the support of LGBTQ rights, never more important in Florida than now, when our Republican Governor has been attempting to silence LGBTQIA voices.

Visiting Silver Springs - Ocala, FL
1,000 miles into our road trip journey, we've made it to Ocala, FL! Having done very little (i.e. no) research, we happened upon Silver Springs State Park and couldn't believe our eyes! Watch to see what we thought about the 4 time gold wining Best State Park in FL, and all of the other things we did in Central Florida (spoiler alert: it involves a lot of chickens).
