The Hot Springs of Agua Caliente
Agua Caliente had a 22 room hotel, built in 1897, and hot springs The hot springs dried up as Farmers used more water for irrigation. the hotel is no longer open but it still stands today . Agua Caliente had hot springs and was by Indians for hundreds of years . In 1873 it became a popular spot for people on the Butterfield stage lines .

The Girl with the Blue Tattoo ; Frontier story of Olive Oatman
In 1851 the Oatman family was traveling west in a covered wagon . They where attacked by a renegade band and the two Oatman girls where kidnapped . The youngest girl died soon after but Olive survived to be rescued . When the was brought back , she had the most curious blue tattoo on her chin . She grew up to marry and do book lectures of her time as a captive .
