The so-called Scorpion unit of the Memphis Police Department was abolished on Saturday due to a "cloud of disgrace" raised by recently released footage showing some of the unit's members fatally assaulting Tyre Nichols after stopping the Black driver.

At around 10 pm on November 22, officers in an unmarked police car saw a man changing license plates to a gray 2007 BMW M5 in front of 2287 Loring Avenue. The officers parked slightly in front of the BMW and another unmarked patrol car parked slightly behind.

The suspect has been arrested for stabbing an NYPD officer in the neck. On Wednesday, around 8 pm, the former police officer, Nicholas Nelson, 37, got into an argument on Elizabeth Street. The discussion started when the suspect, a 26-year-old man, Eric Wilson, kicked the door of the victim’s car. At the time of the fight, Nicholas was with his children. He brought his kids back inside his Staten Island home, and the suspect kept shouting outside. Nicholas's grandmother tried to stop him, but he didn’t listen and went out. The fight between them continued, and the suspect stabbed the victim in the neck shortly after.

A 28-year-old police officer, the father of two children, has committed suicide. The cop jumped from the terrace of a building. On Tuesday, after coming from an appointment with the department psychiatrist, around 12:30 pm, an NYPD officer Steven Hernandez, jumped from the roof of LeFrak City Apartments in Elmhurst, Queens. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The location is near the house of the NYPD Medical Division, according to the police, but it hasn’t been clear if officer Hernandez lived in the building or was just visiting the psychiatrist.

A neighbor shot a man in the Bronx, and the 911 agent who received the call was his wife. On Monday, Dillon St. Clair, a 39-year-old man, got shot in the chest over an argument with his upstairs neighbor. The argument was over the noise coming from their apartment. When someone called 911 to report the incident, the dispatcher who answered the call was the victim’s wife, Junita Reed St. Clair.

Four People were injured, one man got shot and pronounced dead, and another got fatally stabbed. On Saturday, around 2:15 am, a 35-year-old man got stabbed twice by three suspects at Broadway and West 43rd street. The NYPD informed that one of the suspects was wearing a beige hat, the other had dreadlocks, and the last one was wearing a white jacket. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was admitted to Bellevue hospital. No arrests have been made.
