Amazing Northern California Hwy. 1 POV drive
This is one of my favorite stretches road in Northern California. I rode my motorcycle on this road hundreds of times from the 1980's to present. It's a amazing road to ride, or drive in a sports car on. There are parts of the lagoon that seals love to sunbathe in, also a ton of birds to watch.
How to Find the Hidden Old Davenport Pier Swing
Like Shark Fin Cove, we also stumbled upon Old Davenport Pier and its hidden swing in Davenport by chance. On our road trip through Northern California, we ran into some locals who told us to check out this place. Old Davenport Pier is a unique spot consisting of old concrete pier foundation arches stretching out into the water. With the pier’s deck surface having been gone for years, all you have left are the set concrete pylons standing eerily against the never-ending waves. This is where you’ll also find a swing hanging on the concrete pylons, above the crashing waves.
Shark Fin Cove, a Beautiful Hidden Beach in Northern California
We stumbled upon Shark Fin Cove by chance during our road trip along the California coastline. It was meant to be a quick stop for us to stretch our legs. However, we couldn’t get enough of this beautiful place. Shark Fin Cove is a gorgeous secluded beach that is named after a massive rock that resembles a shark fin out of the water. It’s easily one of the most beautiful beaches that we have come across in Northern California. Shark Fin Cove also goes by other names such as Shark’s Tooth Cove, Davenport Cove, and Jah Beach. This place is easy to get to but you have to know where to look.
Chicken Ranch beach in Inverness, California
This is a cool beach that is in Inverness. It is part of the Tomales Bay ecosystem. It's a great beach, because it's on the Tomales Bay, and you can walk out in the water for 25 yards before it starts to get deep.
