New Killer seafood spot in Blue Ridge: The Cove
Discovered a fabulous new restaurant in Blue Ridge! If you love seafood 🦀🦞🦐🐟 you gotta visit The Cove Fish Camp.. It is especially great if you don't want to deal with the hassle of downtown Blue Ridge parking and crowds. We were staying at @overlookcabins and this was just a short drive away. I had no idea what a phenomenal meal we were in for! Luckily we caught the owner, Greg, there and he shared with us that everything is made in house except the fries which are specially cut -its like a cross between steak fries and curly fries. But their slice blend they put on them is house made too. Also don't skip the boiled peanuts!! https://www.thecovefishcamp.com Lobster roll 🦞!!!! Mahi Mahi 🐡 Crab cakes 🦀 Oh and for the meat lovers, the smash burger is exceptional (with bacon 🥓 of course) 😋

We Hike the Palisades of the 'Hooch Near Atlanta to Find a Hidden Bamboo Forest
Tucked away below one of Atlanta's busiest interstate intersections, the Chattahoochee River, high bluffs and native Georgia forest hide a surprising find: a bamboo forest. We hiked the busy trails at the Palisades Park at the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area on a bright October morning. Fall leaves tumbled from the tall trees as foliage surrounding the river changed to bright yellows and orange. After walking about 1/2 mile, we reached the banks of the Chattahoochee, where water rushed through the rocks and geese honked high above. After approximately 2.5 miles, we reached our destination: the hidden bamboo forest, where tall bamboo shoots reached skyward to create a dark maze. We share the highlights in this 2 minute video.
