#DairyGoats #MilkTestingGoats #RaisingNigerianDwarfGoats We did a big thing this year! We joined ADGA Plus! Which means that we are participating in DHIR (Dairy Herd Improvement Registry). That means that we're milk testing! This is a COMPLETELY new thing for our herd! We go over bottle feeding, the testing itself, and how this milk testing is going to help me make big decisions in my herd! She's a perfect example of goats being handled in a loving and calm environment but still just not really enjoying the company of humans. They have personalities too! The only problem is her dislike for me can cause all kinds of trouble if she needs help while delivering her kids! Fingers Crossed she does not need my help!!

She's a lovely mini goat and one of my favorites! I couldn't believe it when she went into labor! We love our Nigerian Dwarf Goats! There's nothing like being there when these mini baby goats are born!

She's got the most expressive blue eyes and she's a real sweetheart! So when I realized I was FINALLY going to be there for an entire birth of hers (Shes SUPER SNEAKY when it comes to kidding!) I was so excited! But I didn't expect to have to assister her in a tough birth with not the best outcomes!

It was dangerous for her to carry kids to term at her size. But this year, Rosie the Nigerian Dwarf Goat, is big enough and old enough to breed! We’re hoping that her date night goes well and that she’ll be welcoming her own kids in the spring! I’m so excited for little Rosie babies! How about you?

It's winter time in East Central Indiana! It's like riding a roller coaster with a weather man! Hot, Cold, Hot, Cold! Ice, Mud, Ice, Mud! We are starting the beginning of 2022 with a career path change! I'm not longer a Mini Dairy Goat Farmer.... I'm a Mud Farmer? The rain just keeps on coming and there's not a lot of places for it to go! So we have Mud and lots of it! Gross!
