Belichick Continues To Be A Huge Factor For Players Signing With The Patriots
It doesn’t matter that Hall of Fame’ wide receiver Randy Moss says Bill Belichick is the greatest coach of all time. It doesn’t matter if Tom Brady himself referred to Belichick as the GOAT - After Brady already won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The narrative amongst the Boston media and entitled Patriots fans is going to stay the same. Nobody wants to play for Bill Belichick.

Patriots Addressed All Their Needs in The Draft
Bill Belichick did not attack the 2022 NFL Draft the way I would have, however it’s fair to say that he addressed every need the team had. Heading into the Draft I had identified the New England Patriots biggest needs as: interior offensive line, cornerback, linebacker, and wide receiver. Based on some conversations I had on day three of the Draft, the Patriots are a lot more comfortable at linebacker than I thought the were. So assuming that wasn’t a pressing need, Belichick addressed everything. The Patriots also said they wanted to get faster, and they got faster. In fact New England has the fastest wide receiver and running back in the draft. They also added a fast cornerback. So the Patriots did their job.
Patriots received worst grade in the 2022 NFL Draft
I saw a tweet from the Boston Globes Ben Volin on Sunday that made me think about how many times Mel Kiper Jr has been wrong. Kiper is the “NFL Draft guru” for ESPN, and he gave the New England Patriots the worst grade in the 2022 NFL Draft. Admittedly, Belichick did some things that confused me, but hours removed, I’m going to try and remember that Belichick knows a little more about football than me. But let me take a second and talk about Mel Kiper for anybody that plans on using his grade as an argument. Kiper gave the Seattle Seahawks a C- for their 2012 Draft, in fact I’m pretty sure he said he hated what they did. Seattle Drafted: Bruce Irvin, Bobby Wagner, Russell Wilson, and J.R. Sweezy. That led to the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl. So please, take what Kiper says with a grain of salt, because he’s wrong as much as I am.
Patriots Draft CB Marcus Jones
The New England Patriots had two third round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. However, Bill Belichick traded number 94 to the Carolina Panthers, but Belichick made a great selection with their first pick when they took cornerback Marcus Jones. In this video I'm going to tell you why I really like the pick, and why Jones is the perfect Patriot. He plays offense, defense, and special teams. Teach him how to kick, and he'd be the perfect Belichick player.
Patriots Draft WR TYQUAN THORNTON
The New England Patriots traded up to the 50th overall pick with the Kansas City Chiefs to select WR Tyquam Thorton. The Patriots haven't had a deep threat in years, and Thorton is the fastest guy in the Draft amongst all wideouts. In this video I explain how Thorton was projected to be a fourth round pick, however the market and the Draft dictated Bill Belichick trading up.
Patriots' Fans: Time To Get Over The Cole Strange Pick, Second Round Starts Tonight
I know that this may come to a surprise to some people, but there are still six rounds left in the 2022 NFL Draft. I can admit, when I heard that the Patriots were taking Cole Strange with the 29th overall pick, my reaction was negative. I'm not even saying that I've changed my mind. Strange is a solid IOL, and guard was one of their top three priorities heading into this years' Draft. In this video I explain that despite how you feel about the Cole Strange pick, it's time to get over it. There is still lots of time for Bill Belichick to address the other needs, and make New England competitive in 2022. It's still early, the pick is not going to change, staying mad is only going to cause you grief, and for what? The second round kicks off in a few hours, let's see what Belichick has up his sleeve.
Hard To Defend The Patriots' Cole Strange Pick
The New England Patriots traded with the Kansas City Chiefs to move back in the first round of the NFL Draft. However, for a minute things seemed bight for Pats Nation. Bill Belichick was player chess while all the other general managers around the NFL were playing checkers. Belichick added draft capitial and Andrew Booth Jr was still on the board when the Patriots were on the clock. Suddenly we were all shocked when Bill Belichick selected IOL Cole Strange, a player that most experts had going in the third round. Strange fills a need, but this was another Belichick reach, and it's hard to defend.
Jakobi Meyers Role on The Patriots May Be Bigger Than Expected
What role will Jakobi Meyers have on the Patriots this season? It feels like depending who you talk to the answer will be different. I originally believed that Meyers would have a reduced role on the The Patriots this season, but my mind may be changed. In this video, I lay out how a PFF stat made me take pause, and came to two conclusions: #1 The Patriots are building a strong, physical offense, and Meyers may fit that system perfectly.
Patriots Can’t Afford to Miss At Cornerback in The Draft
The NFL Draft starts Thursday, and unlike the last few Drafts, Pats Nation is not discussing the quarterback position. However, what the Patriots 2022 season and beyond is going to look like is going to depend a lot on how New England fairs this weekend. More importantly, Bill Belichick needs to hit on a number one cornerback or the Patriots are in a lot of trouble.
Patriots, N’Keal Harry reportedly had ‘positive dialogue’ about exploring trade possibilities
It appears that the N’Keal Harry saga may be coming to an end in New England. According to Bernd Buchmasser of Pats Pulpit, the Patriots and Harry have had positive dialogue regarding a potential trade.
NFL Executive: Patriots Will Still Be Best Coached Team
Hate if you may, but Bill Belichick is still the best coach in the National Football League, despite what the no-nothing critics, fans, and clickbait media say. Bill Belichick’s success as head coach of the New England Patriots has been put into question for the last seven or eight years. There is a healthy portion of the NFL universe that believe Belichick is a failed coach, and only achieved the level of success he did because of Tom Brady. Logic would tell you that’s B.S., and the last two seasons proved why Belichick is such a great coach.
DeVante Parker praises Mac Jones after workout: 'He’s got a nice arm'
After a disappointing ending to the New England Patriots season, some Patriots fans were very concerned about Mac Jones “Rahg Ahm” after New England took a pretty good beating from the Buffalo Bills in the Wildcard round. For the more rationale fans, we knew that Jones had a rookie season, and we are all sitting back in anticipation waiting to see what type of jump he’ll make in 2022. New Englands’ newest wide receiver DeVante Parker has already given Pats Nation something to look forward to.
