Heat advisory in effect over weekend for Forsyth County, surrounding areas
(Forsyth County, GA) A heat advisory is in effect for Forsyth County and surrounding areas over the weekend until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25. According to the National Weather Service, temperatures in the mid to high 90s with heat index temperatures of up to 102 degrees are expected Friday, Aug. 25 through Sunday, Aug. 27. Thunderstorms are expected throughout next week with the highest chance of them on Monday, Aug. 28 and Tuesday, Aug. 29.
