In the heartland of America, a different kind of pipeline project is causing political turbulence. It's not the Keystone XL or the Dakota Access pipeline, but rather a network of underground pipes that would transport carbon dioxide from industrial facilities in the Midwest to underground storage sites.

If you happen to be traveling in these areas or live in them prepare for aggressive winds, possible tornadoes and several inches of snow as storms move in late this week.

The city also has a strong resemblance to Pittsburgh, with its many bridges, and red brick row houses clinging to hillsides overlooking industrial valleys.
