Villa Del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto: Why It Should Be On Your Travel List
It was just a few hours into my trip at Villa Del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto in Mexico, and I knew it was already a place I was dying to come back to. In this video, we explore why resort life here is incredible. On a boat tour to see nearby islands, we see many birds of the Baja, including blue-footed boobies and frigates. And even a pod of bottlenosed dolphins who didn’t shy away from us as our panga boat approached to get a closer look. The resort also offers traditional experiences like Mexican Fiestas, where dancers on stage entertained us during a traditional Mexican dinner, and Beach Parties with a series of games and even a Conga Line.
Villa Del Palmar Overview: A Trip To The Islands of Loreto Changed My Entire Perception of Mexico
Mexico has never been a top pick travel destination for me, but all that changed after a trip to Villa Del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto on the country's Baja Peninsula, off the Sea of Cortez. During a three-night wellness-focused vacation, I saw a side of Mexico I didn't know existed. I had experienced all-inclusive resorts before, not the modern kind with multiple restaurants and celebrity chefs, but the variety from a few decades ago that involved three buffet meals a day, constant cocktails, and a rowdy party vibe. Not really my kind of travel as I prefer to stay active, feel healthy, and partake in fun excursions during the day. So when Villa Del Palmar delivered this, as well as a striking landscape of mountains, sea, and islands, I was pleasantly surprised. This video will show you why this is a top pick for a wellness-focused vacation. We head out on hiking trails, enjoy healthy food, test our balance during stand-up paddleboard yoga and enjoy every second at the Sabila Spa.
