The Ghost Town of Pinal City
Silver had been found in the area and the boom was on . The post office was established on April 10, 1878, as Picket Post, But in June 27,1879 it was changed to Pinal City . The silver king mine produced large quantities of silver until November 28, 1891and the boom was over . Wyatt Earp common law wife Matty Blaylock died of an overdose and is buried nearby . In the 1900 copper was found and the boom was back on . Pinal was moved north and became Superior , Az .
Dragoon Pistols Lost in the Superstition Mountains
It was in 1871 that a shipment of 24 Colt Dragoon Pistols was making its way to camp McDowell. Along the way the convey was ambushed by Apaches. The scrambled but split up . The remaining men hid the pistols in a cave in the Superstition Mountains . A few men made it back to safety but could not remember the exact cave upon returning . The pistols have never been found .

Metal Detecting Late 1800's Home Site in North Alabama
We were invited by fans to a late 1800s home site in Madison County Alabama just East of Huntsville, AL. We were using our metal detectors to locate lost history and learn more about this site. We found an item that loosely related to film star Charlie Chaplin.

Antique Trash Upcycled to Treasure?
We were searching a military camp used by the US Army during the Spanish American War (1898-1899). We located an antique jug that would have been extremely valuable if it had not been broken 120+ years ago. We will have more videos attempting to salvage this incredible piece of history.
