The Dallas Mavericks still have a shot at making the play-in tournament as the No.10 seed if they can win their remaining two games and if the Oklahoma City Thunder split their final two games. However, the Mavericks owe their first-round pick to the Knicks as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, but it is top-10 protected. As of Friday night, the Mavericks and Bulls had the 10th-worst record in the league.

Dallas Mavericks point guard Kyrie Irving hasn't been the smash hit the Mavericks were hoping for when they pulled off the blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets to land him at the trade deadline, as the Mavericks are more than likely not going to make the playoff or play-in tournament.

The Dallas Mavericks currently are sitting in the 6th sport of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association with a 25-24 record. The team is in the middle of the pack in pace to make a playoff spot, but they may be about to have a rough road ahead due to a massive injury.

NBA.com reports this marks the first-ever 60-point, 20-rebound triple-double in NBA history. Not even Wilt Chamberlain, who is known for his impressive statistics, has ever achieved such a feat.

Luka Doncic is back in action later this week with the Slovenia National Team, as they get ready for FIBA World Cup Qualifying and Eurobasket 2022. Will Luka and Slovenia repeat as Eurobasket champions after winning it in 2017 as a cinderella? The 2022-23 Dallas Mavericks are not a finished product, with one roster spot and one two-way spot available to join Luka Doncic and the Mavs this season. Dallas is currently in need of a third ball handler behind Doncic and Spencer Dinwiddie, and could use another body on the wing to take the load off of Dorian Finney-Smith and Reggie Bullock.
