( CNN ) - After skirmishes between protestors and police during widespread rallies resulted in one death and 30 injuries, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte has appealed for dialogue. "Once again, I urge conversation and urge those political leaders to cool down.

As soon as you set foot in Restaurant Huaca Pucllana you’ll understand the unique and unforgettable qualities of this must do dining experience.

It was easily one of our favourite meals during our trip and served dishes that were both delicious and surprising. We loved the welcoming setting and buzzing ambiance featuring dark wood interiors, artistic accents, and comfortable bar seating.

In a time when new virus strains and new vaccines are a constant focus, it is sometimes easy to unintentionally overlook the many benevolent organizations which have been serving our communities for a long time. One such organization, Kiwanis, has been meeting the needs of others for over 100 years. Founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1915, Kiwanis now boasts more than 550,000 members in 80 countries and geographic areas worldwide and hosts nearly 150,000 service projects each year. One of its local chapters, the Honeoye Falls-Lima/Mendon Kiwanis Club, recently took part in a statewide initiative to help Kentucky families impacted by devastating tornados.
