Note: We were given a complimentary stay at this hotel. Take a beautiful family vacation on stunning Mirror Lake and stay at the cozy and picturesque Golden Arrow. The inviting and grand hotel is located at the heart of Main Street and has prime location right on the lake. As soon as we entered the warm and ambient lobby we were greeted by friendly staff and breathtaking scenery. The alpine lodge design, detailed accents, and friendly service ensured we felt right at home and we loved the spectacular panoramic views of Mirror Lake and the natural scenery.

This is our first visit to Lake June in Winter Scrub State Park. This was a smaller state park, but a hidden gem with a wonderful view! WOW! A quick stop and to stretch your legs for a few minutes. This is part of our Florida State Parks series where we will attempt to visit all 175 state parks in Florida.

After walking around for a few hours in Lake Placid, New York, we were hungry and tired. We got into the car to find somewhere to eat for dinner. We have people with different diet restrictions, as well as children with us, so it can be challenging at times to find a place everyone likes.

We traveled to Lake Placid, Florida and drove around town past many of the towns famous murals and trash cans! What an awesome drive through this small Florida city. Hop in and take a ride with us! Go full screen for a better effect!
