JETBOIL Genesis Base Camp Cook System Review
The Rugged Mountain Sister does her first review, showing off the Jetboil Genesis Base Camp Cook System. She has used this stove several times while car camping. A few pieces of information we didn't get in the video: 1- This is obviously another car camping item. Weight = 9 lbs 2- This is one item that I definitely splurged on. 3- Reason #1 It's form factor when packed up fits better with how we pack. Packed Dimensions = 10" high by 7" Diameter 4- Reason #2 The burner valve control is VERY fine. You can blast it or keep a low simmer for eggs or just keeping things warm. 5 - Jetlink compatable design allows a 3rd burner to be added for boiling water etc. 6- I grew up using the standard Coleman green stoves. 7- Let me know any other questions you may have about the stove 8- I feel it's been worth the $300 price tag.... so far.
