One of the best places to hike in Middle Georgia, in our opinion, is Indian Springs State Park and Dauset Trails Nature Center. There are 30 miles of hiking trails in Dauset Trails. One of our favorite hikes is the trail from Indian Springs State Park to Dauset Trails. This trail is 3.5 miles one way and offers a great view of Chief McIntosh Lake. We love it because it has great places to explore on each end, plus it's a great moderate trail.
