The purpose of the conference is the empower the journey of women to lead and serve their communities. According to Lynne O’Dell, the Conference Chair, this is going to be an annual event as she knew it was something that not only the college needed but the community as well.

Countdown is on for TEDx Vero Beach at the Emerson Center
Vero Beach had their first TEDx event on October 19th, 2019, at the Emerson Center, a few months before the pandemic started. It was a grand affair and sellout. Unfortunately, the coronavirus put a damper on things and Michael Strezinski, the founder of TEDxVero, along with his board were unable to schedule it again until now.
