Agra Tandoori Indian Restaurant
Back at one of our favorite Indian restaurants, Agra Tandoori for the usual order. First that came out were the papadoms with mint chutney, tamarind chutney and pickled carrots. Then the steamed rice, sizzling tandoori chicken, saag paneer, goat karahi and naan bread. YUM!

Tandoori chicken served on a sizzling platter
A must-order is the tandoori chicken which arrived on a sizzling platter - moist, tender and absolutely delicious! Also on the table are fish curry made of sea bass, saag paneer or spinach with cheese, basmati rice and of course naan bread. The appetizer was papadom with three condiments - mint, tamarind and picked vegetables. Yum!

I had no clue that what lies in San Gabriel is one of the highest regarded Indian restaurant and market in all of LA. What is unique about this joint is that it is both a restaurant AND a market. When I walk into the market, I feel like I’m a kid at a candy store because there are so many authentic Indian spices, snacks, and other hard to find ingredients that I’m just going crazy for! Let’s not forget, we’re here for the food, but the market is an amazing place to check out. Next to the market is their restaurant offering some authentic Indian food but also some fusion dishes that brings together LA and India. Oh, and for you spicy fans out there! Agra Tandoori Indian Restaurant
A craving for goat led us to the same Indian restaurant we picked up dinner about a month ago, at Agra Tandoori on Ventura Boulevard in Tarzana. We ordered the same dishes - chicken tandoori, saag paneer, lamb korma and of course goat karahi. Yum, yum!
