Explaining the Economic Ideology Geoism
One interesting economic system that was created by an American is Geoism. This particular economic system was created by a man named Henry George, a man who was born in Philadelphia back in eighteen thirty-nine. This man became a political economist and wrote several books about his political ideologies including Progress and Poverty, Social Problems, Protection or Free Trade, The Condition of Labor, Rerun Novarum, and The Science of Political Economy. Geoism was advanced as the idea that the economic value of land, natural resources, and opportunities should be shared equally by all members of society while allowing the ownership of the property to still exist as a part of society. To do this, Henry George proposed practicing a single tax on land instead of taxing labor with the idea that by taxing land, productivity would go up to a level that would reduce poverty and give all members of society a fair chance in wealth creation.
An Introduction To Semi-Direct Democracy

However, one thing people seem to not realize is that direct democracy (people directly voting on important issues) and representative democracy (people vote for representatives who represent them) don't have to necessarily be exclusive.
Opinion: Why I Write About Generational Anarchism
At this point with my writings for NewsBreak, most people following me probably know that I spend time writing about practical anarchism. I write about dispelling the myth that anarchists all want no government whatsoever; since many anarchists & libertarians simply want a nightwatchman state - a government that exists to protect people's rights but does not have a monopoly on violence that can allow it to be turned into a tool against the very people the government is supposed to defend. I have also written about mutualism: a form of government with a blueprint for how people can own property and handle finances as well as their state of living without needing an overbearing hierarchical state. On top of all this, I want to point out why I spend so much time talking about anarchist & libertarian communities that existed longer than a generation and why I point out how many generations each of these communities have lasted.

The Idea Behind A Story And Its Collective Acceptance
The Ideological Secret Recipe For Human Triumph Over Other Species, More So, An Instrument Of Destruction. From the time of birth till we die, as human beings, we conceptualize day in and day out the course of actions we take. Every individual possesses a particular set of ideas on how to conduct and what tasks to carry out at a given time and place. Not uncommonly, we bring those into life and recommend ideas through a structured system. Those systems are the foundation of sociopolitical and economic theories that many collective cultures in history have taken up.
Opinion: The Hypocrisy Of Modern Democracy
We Outlaw Ideologies When We Should Be Punishing The Crime — So, We must Be Insane!. It seems that lately, we use the word "Democracy" more than ever. We have idealized the concept of government by the hoi polloi in a community or state. But, within the generally defined framework, democracy, like many other sociopolitical phenomena, has had its share of social engineering.
