Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant. The Farmhouse, at Hyatt Centric Hong Kong, is currently serving a Surf & Turf themed dinner buffet bringing together the freshest seafood and juiciest cuts of meat, creating a perfect evening for the whole family. We loved starting with the cold seafood section which included decadent Brown Crab, Snow Crab Legs, Prawns, Clams, Mussels and Whelks and even a Sashimi Counter with made to order sashimi prepared for you by the chef.
Odyssée Creative Dining, Hong Kong
Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant. Perched high up on the 101st floor of ICC is one of Hong Kong’s hottest creative dining destinations. Odyssée, a French fine dining restaurant, boasts an intimate and luxurious dining room featuring sparkling harbour views and mouthwatering tasting menus. We loved the stylish surroundings and impeccable service alongside innovative recipes served from a semi-open kitchen.
Japanese Drama ‘Who Were We?’ Sells Across East Asia
The enigmatic romantic film stars in-demand Japanese actors Ryuhei Matsuda and Nana Komatsu. The Japanese romantic fantasy film Who Were We?, which recently competed at the Tokyo International Film Festival, has locked down several key sales in East Asia. Happinet Phantom Sutdios and Tetsuya To Mina Film will co-distribute the title at home in Japan, while Seoul-based Andamiro Films has taken all rights for South Korea and mainland China rights have gone to Beijing Jungle Jim Culture Media.

ODDS, located at the heart of HK’s Central District, is the perfect hidden gem for delicious Japanese fare, ultra cool ambiance, and a friendly and lively team. We entered through a discreet automatic door at the back of the bar area where the sleek entrance revealed an intimate and sophisticated speakeasy style space complete with candlelit tables and an inviting sushi bar.

Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant. We love sampling Chinese fare all over the world and seeing each country’s take on the traditional cuisine. British Chinese cuisine has always been one of our favourites with fragrant shredded duck and addictive prawn toast, so were very excited to see a restaurant serving the mouthwatering fare in our neighbourhood, Sheung Wan. 1908 British Chinese Cuisine is one of HK’s only restaurants serving elevated British Chinese fare and has been garnering excited diners for the past two years. Their renditions of the well loved dishes are created using the best produce and are served in portion sizes great for sharing as a family.

Located in Hong Kong’s towering ICC, we were captivated by the spectacular bird’s eye view and the intimate and romantic setting. We loved sitting at their corner table, right beside the floor to ceiling windows admiring HK’s city lights. The staff were friendly and welcoming introducing the menus and wine pairing to perfectly match your dinner.
Kicho’s First Anniversary 14-course Summer Dinner with Free-Flow Premium Sake, Hong Kong
Note: We were given a complimentary dining experience at this restaurant. Kicho, located at the heart of Central Hong Kong, serves authentic Japanese yakitori in a relaxed and traditional setting. We loved the bar seating creating an interactive and engaging dining experience. The predominately Japanese culinary team is led by veteran group chef Chikashi Yoshida who is well known as a yakitori kappo specialist with successful branches in both Ebisu and Ginza Tokyo. The restaurant follows an authentic comb-to-claw dining ritual highlighting the signature charcoal-grilled chicken skewers while adding the flair of serving the signature dishes in an omakase dining format.

Carver, located in Causeway Bay’s Crowne Plaza, serves mouthwatering grilled meats and fresh seafood in a modern and relaxed setting. The contemporary steak house is a perfect spot for family or group dining with large booths and tables where you can share the delicious fare. We sampled the dinner tasting menu during our visit and loved the high quality ingredients alongside perfectly prepared recipes. Portions were ideal for sharing and great for those with hearty appetites.

Arguably the best dining experience for beef lovers, WAGYUMAFIA offers diners a one of a kind interactive and mouthwatering tasting menu we won’t soon forget. A long time celebrity favourite, the coveted restaurant serves a decadent tasting menu of the best Wagyu in town. We entered through a small door and started our dinner right beside the meat locker with a small taste of air dried Wagyu and a shot of sake, before heading into the main dining area.
