Actress Bekah Jung: “We need more films and shows that have more than just a token Asian"
"I would like to champion more diversity in the industry. I fully support Asians in non-traditional roles as well. Crazy Rich Asians and Fresh Off the Boat have done a lot to bring attention to Asian actors. Outside of productions that are intentionally all Asian, it would be great to see more films and shows that have more than just a token Asian (or any minority for that matter). I also really want to see an Asian superhero. Shang Chi got the green light so that will be awesome! I also really want to see a Silk (Korean American superhero) movie, it’s something I’ve wanted to have an opportunity to play for a while. Not just Asian villains or Asian sidekicks/friends, or supporting roles but headlining Asian heroes. (And heroes doesn’t always mean superhero, heroes come in all shapes and sizes.) But I’d like to see more Asians in leading roles overall. I would like to see the stereotypes broken."

The Pitch Black Movie Made Vin Diesel a Star Actor
The turbine is releasing the sci-fi classic Pitch Black in an impressive edition with tons of bonus material and even a book. When Pitch Black hit theaters in 2000, it was expected to be nothing more than a twist on the well-known Alien story, which has been revisited since Ridley Scott's 1979 film. However, writer-director David Twohy delivered much more than a more-or-less good copy.
The "Sexiest Man Alive" Award By People Magazine and the Glaring Issue With Diversity (An Opinion)
The "Sexiest Man Alive" is a recognition by People Magazine. “People” is an American magazine about celebrities, gossip, and Hollywood. I had never read a weekly issue, what I have seen though, is their annual recognition of the "Sexiest Man Alive". It's an honor that has been given out since 1985. A long-lasting tradition, you could say. People also tried the business of The Sexiest Woman Alive but considering they only did it one time in 2014, it didn't go as well as they hoped. They succeeded with another format, however: The 100 Most Beautiful People. That's been going strong since 1990.

Samuel L. Jackson's Chicken Restaurant Opening Soon
Grab a chicken sandwich while you can.Loes Klinker/Unsplash. Celebrities are known to endorse a product or two. Just about every commercial on television has some kind of celebrity hawking one item or another. However, these celebs are not putting their own money behind the products. That is why a new spicy chicken sandwich restaurant coming to town is different. It isn’t paying celebrities to endorse their food. Instead, the fast-casual restaurant is backed by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

David Arquette in "Eight Legged Freaks"Warner Bros. (Pinal County, AZ) When they paved over paradise to create the world's entertainment capital, Hollywood needed to expand its reach. Ballers Star Omar Miller: "Don’t wait until you get to Hollywood, you can start by bringing Hollywood to you"
I am a big believer that you will never succeed if you’re afraid to fail. Being scared puts you in a state of paralysis, and once you are in that state, nothing productive is going to get done. In other words, you must take risks to receive rewards. Right now, think about how easy it is to control your destiny with a phone in your pocket. People have made it before you without that advantage, but if you can be persistent with it, something great will happen as long as you keep going. Avail yourself to as many opportunities as possible, and just keep creating. Don’t feel like you have to wait until you get to Hollywood, you can start by bringing Hollywood to you. Take this opportunity, show the world how good you are, and continue to chase your dreams.

The Elvis Chapel at the Superstition Mountain MuseumSuperstition Mountain Museum. (Apache Junction, AZ) It’s just an ordinary Hollywood movie trope. Was “The Slap” Staged? (opinion)
I Really Didn’t Want to Weigh In … Until This Happened. Here we go again, celebrities acting stupid. I was prepared to ignore it and go about my day like any other day, until my wife declared that Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars must have been staged.
