RECIPE Ingredients: 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 egg 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Hershey Kisses Additional granulated sugar Steps: 1. Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter, and egg until well blended. Stir in flour, baking soda, and baking powder until dough forms. 2. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in additional granulated sugar. On an ungreased cookie sheet, please about 2 inches apart. 3. Bake 8-10 minutes (times may vary) or until edges are light golden brown. Immediately press on Hershey Kiss in the center of each cookie. Transfer to a cooling rack to cool

Today is Day 20 of our Countdown to Christmas and we're going to show you how to make Rice Krispie TREES! Ingredients: 4 cups marshmallows 6 cups rice krispie treats 3 tbsp butter Green food coloring Sprinkles Pretzel sticks Steps: Place butter and marshmallows into a pot. Melt over medium heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Add green food coloring, stir. Add more until you get desired green color. Slowly, pour in rice krispies while stirring constantly. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 dish. Press down firmly. Add sprinkles. Allow to cool for 30 minutes. Slice lengthwise. Then cut triangles. Gently twist pretzel sticks into the bottom of the treats. Today is Day 24 of our Countdown to Christmas and we're going to show you how to make Lemon Drop Cookies for Santa! Ingredients: Cookies: 1/2 cup sugar 1 stick butter, softened 3 eggs 1 1/2 tsp lemon extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp sale Icing: 3 cups confectioners sugar 1/4 cup water 1 tsp lemon extract Optional: Sprinkles Steps: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Set aside. Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and lemon extract and beat well. Add flour mixtture, mix well untill smooth texture forms. Refrigerate for 1 hour. With a small cookie scoop, drop doug onto a slightly greased cookie sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until firm and lightly brown. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and allow to cool. Combine the icing ingredients in a bowl until just smooth. Dip tops of the cooled cookies into the glaze then return to a wire rack. Sprinkle with sprinkles immediately.

So we wanted to try one of Forgotten Way Farms 12 mugs of Christmas. Recipe: Cinnamon Syrup: 1 cup water 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon Apple Cider Whipped heavy Cream Caramel Sauce Combine water, brown sugar and cinnamon in a sauce pan bring to a boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for 5-6 minutes until cinnamon mixture starts to thicken a bit. Mix 1/4 cup of cinnamon syrup into a 12oz mug of cider. Or mix all of the syrup into 60 oz of apple cider and heat up in a large pot. Bring mixture of apple cider and cinnamon syrup to a simmer and stir well.
