St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Treats - Cooking With Kids!
In this Cooking With Kids episode, we are making St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Treats! They're super fast and easy, and taste great! Your kids will love them, they're great for parties, and they're just dang cute to boot. Here's what you'll need: Ingredients: 1 package Airheads Xtremes rainbow strips or rainbow bites 1 bag square pretzles 1 10.1 oz bag dark salted caramel Rolos Gold Sugar Crystals, sprinkles or Sanding sugar
Malted pecan nougat
There are no eggs, no honey, no chocolate, and no condensed milk required to make my malted pecan nougat candy. Instead, I use powdered milk. The candy is fairly simple to make, and it tastes very similar to chocolate-coated malted balls, without the chocolate coating, of course. Hope y'all will enjoy it!
Oatmeal fudge candy
This recipe has a chocolate fudge-like flavor. However, it isn't a fudge recipe. The candy is extremely rich, and that's why I prefer rolling it into small ball-shaped pieces. However, I have asbestos hands (LOL… Meaning that I have very little feeling in my hands). So, use caution. The candy mixture is hot when it's first made, so you will probably want to transfer it by spoonfuls to the wax paper instead.
