Hiking Through Eagle Creek to Punchbowl Falls
Here we are 2 miles into our hike along Eagle Creek, and now the hike requires that we cross the creek in order to reach the base of Punchbowl Falls. This part of the hike is a bit tricky and treacherous, so be very careful!
Dangerous Hike Along the Edge of A Mountain in the Columbia River Gorge
This hike is the "Eagle Creek Trail", and it takes you on a section that is very exposed and at least 100 feet above the water. It can be dangerous though, so be careful and watch your step so you don't fall!
Starting A Quiet Morning Hike Along the Trail at Eagle Creek
We started this morning off by hiking the Eagle Creek Trail, located in the Columbia River Gorge just outside of Portland. This hike was pretty quiet when we went, and there are many points of interest to see along the way.

Barbado Ridge in Kickapoo Caverns State Park is a very quiet and isolated trail. If you are ever in the Southwestern part of the state near the Mexican border, stop by this park for a peaceful hiking adventure. Also, the views are great along the ridge!
