A taste of Hawaii at Mālama Pono
We're here at Mālama Pono, a Hawaiian restaurant to try the Loco Moco. I have made Loco Moco a few times in the past, but have not tried it at a restaurant. Their version is made of pork patty, porcini gravy, egg and pickled something which looked like the Filipino atchara. Husband had red snapper and Josh had ahi tuna poki-mi. For appetizer, we had spicy yellowfin tuna crispy rice and oysters. Dessert was warm rice pudding which they gave us "to go" for free.
