Hawaii Travel: Ka'ena Point State Park is one of Oahu's most beautiful historical coastal trails
Ka'ena Point State Park is one of Oahu's most beautiful coastal hiking trails. It is one that offers not only spectacular ocean views, amazing wildlife, and history. The Peoples of Hawaii always make great strides to preserve/protect their parks and natural resources for all of us to enjoy. The late 1800's there was a need for a railroad in this area along the coast. Transportation of people and goods was necessary between Honolulu and the sugar plantations in Kahuku and Waialua. During World War II, the U.S. Army used the trains for access to Kaena Point Military Reservation. By the 1920s-1930s, the train was used for weekend fisherman excursions. Wildlife: Enjoy the sight of the large birds called Albatross that migrate here to nest and mate. The sea lions find their perfect comfy spot on the beach to take a nap.

Hawaii's Local Eats- Have You Tried Garlic Shrimp In A Pineapple?
When in Hawai'i, splurge on all of the good eats, especially this combo. Hawai'i is known for it's amazing garlic shrimp with gobs of garlic and big plump shrimp. But Five Star Shrimp kicked it up a notch and made this dish extra special. They combined the famous garlic shrimp with some heat and then some sweet and put this combo in a cored-out pineapple. The combo of heat, sweet, and savory is one you must try! And Honolulu Burger Co opened up another location here in the food court. Their burgers are imaginative and flavorful. The taro burger is one that you shouldn't skip when checking them out! And don't forget to add those sweet potato fries! https://waikikifoodhall.com/ Music www.pixabay.com Happy Dance Alex MakeMusic

Hawaii's Famous Turtle Beach
Two things that Hawai'i is famous for are Beaches and Musubi. This beach in the North Shore is one of the most famous spots people love to visit to get a beautiful view of the Honu or Green Turtle. While it is affectionately known as Turtle Beach, the real name is Laniakea Beach. A fun fact about the Honu or Green Turtle is that it gets its name from the green fat inside of it instead of the color of its shell. They are prevalent throughout the Hawaiian Islands but this beach in particular is known for constant sightings. Right across the beach from Laniakea is Musubistro which is open on Saturday and Sunday until they sell out. Their musubi is not a traditional musubi with spam but rather a fresh mahi mahi filet, breaded and fried, katsu-style and then packaged with rice and seaweed.
