Record cold Halloween, frosts freezes Great Lakes to Gulf Coast to the East Coast
The coldest air of the season so far is moving in over the next several days and this is setting us up for widespread frosts and freezes over the next couple of nights. Freeze watches are going up for Wednesday morning for parts of Eastern Pennsylvania to Southern New England and we will likely see more watches and warnings later today. In the meantime today we still have some cloud issues thanks to yesterday's cold front that has moved offshore. There is enough of a push of dry air to produce some sunshine today but highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s at best.
