The Truth About Inflation and Retail Grocery Corporations
INFLATION- The best thing for many of today’s greed driven corporations! So I hear and see folks asking if the inflation is ever going to end. Well for many of today’s suppliers, growers, manufacturers, and retailers why would they want it to end? If you do a little detective work you’ll find out most are making record profits now at less tonnage and much less production. Say a major grocery chain store we’ll call “Ogre” can sell 100 20 lb. bags of Ogre dog food for $30 per bag when they used to have to sell 150 30 lb bags at $20 each now they are making same amount of dollar sales but with less labor, less materials, more profit! Do you think they will revert back to the 30lb. bag and the old price for their “valued” customers? When they can simply blame high prices on inflation and supply shortages then the sky is the limit on how high they can raise their prices. So the worst thing that could happen is for a change in administration that would stop the inflation and “Horror”even attempt to reverse prices back to pre inflation times. No matter how nice a public relations effort these greed driven corporations put on about how they’re striving hard to help the poor, financially strapped consumers while they’re really just wolves in sheep’s clothing being guided by the profiteer Ceos who answer to the almighty Board of Directors who are there to earn top dividends while they can.
