Admittedly, summer is my least favorite season in the Upstate. It is likely due to having spent 18 years living in Florida, wishing for a break from the heat. While I love having the boys home with us more and the freedom to travel and explore our beautiful area, the heat can be deal breaker. Check out some of the best ways we’ve found to cool off in the summer months around Greenville, SC!
Secret Peeping Case Has a Greenville Man Facing 16 Felony Charges
Eavesdropping and voyeurism are on the rise against women across the United States. A Greenville man is facing 16 felony charges after deputies say he took pictures of women with a hidden camera. Eric Zobre is charged with two counts of secret peeping, nine counts of possession of images from secret peeping, disclosure of private images, third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, larceny by employee, and two counts of violating a domestic violence protective order. Zobre was arrested after someone did the right thing by going to the authorities, and reported that he had been showing various nude photos of women to them, talking about how he got them. Zobre is being charged with stealing items from his employer Grady White Boats.

On Friday, July 22nd at 7:00 PM, Koinonia Christian Center will be having a Songs of Church Live Recording. Currently, the event is sold out but everyone is welcome to enjoy the event from the Journey Building. Bishop Rosie O’Neal said, “ Hymns are God-centered and call our attention upward; they turn our anxieties to praise and our questions to certainties. We don't sing hymns for tradition's sake, we use them to declare the undeniable truth that Christ is still alive and his power transcends culture and time”.

Coming from Portland, Maine, it is only a three-hour drive, and it is definitely worth the drive. The lake is Maine's largest lake and the second largest lake in New England, with nearly 75,000 acres. Moosehead is a natural lake almost forty miles long that was formed over 12,000 years ago when glaciers retreated from Maine.

A grandmother from South Carolina recently won $300,000 in the lottery by using the ages of her grandchildren, according to the South Carolina Education Lottery. She reportedly bought the winning ticket from a local Circle K store and used the numbers 2, 4, 13, 16 and 21.
