Cruising the Middle Loup River in a Stock Tank || Full Time RV Family
We book at stock tank cruise on the Middle Loup River through the Sandhills Motel in Mullen, Nebraska. This cruise was a first for us all. It was a chilly day but it was still fun. I could see when it was a nice summer day that you would want to sit and relax the whole river. We had to paddle most of the way since the river was down pretty low. Some fun memories were made and had a blast that we will never forget. Check out more fun adventures on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube: Top Of The World Adventures.
Touring the Bachelor Syracuse Mine || Full Time RV Family
Touring the Bachelor Syracuse Mine was not on our list of things to do but it was definitely a nice surprise. We took a step back in time and walked down the railroad tracks to where everything was mined. You must watch out for bears. Our tour guide said he has been greeted with a bear as he was exiting the mine a couple of times. This was very informational and fun for the kids and us as well! Fixing the Master Bed in our RV || Full Time RV Family
Something just was not right when our bed would move in and out on the slide. We pulled the mattress off the bed and took everything out of the storage under the bed. We noticed that they box part was sideways. All the staples had come out of the frame. Colin put screws in the bed to hold it together and now it works just fine. Front Jack Replacement || Full Time RV Family
Our front jack went out when we were in Northeastern Colorado. There are no mobile techs out there. We were on our own to fix and get back to Northern Colorado until we could get the parts we need. It was hard to get the RV up high enough to get it on the truck but we were able to do it with the help of some of our family members. We finally got the parts we needed and the repairs were complete. Follow us for more adventures on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube: Top Of The World Adventures
Social: A Speakeasy in Fort Collins, CO || Full Time RV Family
This is one of our favorite bars to visit when we are back home in Northern Colorado. This speakeasy takes you back in time. The only way to find this bar in the clock outside. If it is the weekend there will probably be a line. You show your id to the bouncer and your seat will be prepared for you. Walk down the stairs as you will be taken back in time to enjoy some of your favorite cocktails. Sit back, relax and enjoy. We drive our Dodge 3500 dually down Shafer Trail Road. This is definitely a 4WD and high clearance drive, but the views are worth it. Plan on lots of time to get down the road. Horseshoe Bend is absolutely beautiful, but make sure you take lots of water when you go because it gets hot! There is a small entry fee to get into the park and a large parking lot. The hike is short but will be busy during the day. The park installed some shade shelters but they definitely get crowded when it is hot. Make sure to watch your step as we did run across a small snake in the rocks. Have you camera batteries charged up and enjoy the view. California Condors and Balanced Rock at Lee's Ferry || Full Time RV Family
We pulled into Lee's Ferry at the first come first serve sites and scored an awesome spot. We were there at the right time to catch some of the California Condors hanging out on the Navajo Bridge. They were amazing to see but none of them took flight. That would have made our trip that much more special. Balanced Rock is fun to walk up to and explore when you are in the area. There are several information boards in the area so you can learn how all the rock got their shapes. Follow for more RV adventures: Top Of The World Adventures on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
