Fields of the Wood: North Carolina's Christian Theme Park
In this episode, Tommy and I travel to Murphy, North Carolina to visit what is possibly the largest biblical monument in the United States. The 300 foot wide Ten Commandments monument is part of a 200 acre Christian based theme park built in the 1940's by the Church of God of the Prophecy and let us tell you... it is MAGNIFICENT. Regardless of what your religious beliefs might be, it would be difficult not to visit this place and find it truly a work of art and a labor of love. Admission is free and the park is open 7 days a week from 7-7, year round. It also has a spectacular hiking trails and elevation gains, as well as a cafe and gift shop.
Driving into the Past: Resaca Battlefield
In this episode, Tommy and I take a brief detour through the Historic Resaca Battlefield in Resaca, Georgia, to learn how this battle, though some would later say was inconsequential, started the campaign for Sherman's Siege on Atlanta.

In this episode, Tommy and escape for the night for a trip to Historical Chattanooga where we discover another tie in to the Great Locomotive Chase, explore the AMAZING Montague Park Sculpture Gardens, get familiar with the woman who struck out legendary pitchers for the NY Yankees, Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig, before enjoying lunch at Lori's favorite spot in Chattanooga, the Epicurean!
