After a few weeks of taking a break with family we are back at it!! Only a few projects left until the whole house is done. The master bathroom is the last BIG project. We decided to frame a small wall out in the shower so that we didn't have to get a custom shower door to save some money. While we are at it Dave built out a bench and a small ledge that the tilers will tile over when they come do their thing. The plumbers came and moved the drain pipe for the new bathtub and the hot and cold water lines were moved as well. Come along for all the crazy that is us! It is finally finished friends!! The upstairs bedroom we call our Beauty & the Beast room and the en-suite bathroom we call the Peter Pan bathroom is finished! We love the transformation these rooms have taken and in the future I will be doing an in depth before and after from start to finish. Also in this video our bathtub for the master bath remodel was delivered BUT no so fast!! There was an issue with it...watch to find out what happened. I FINALLY regrouted the upstairs shower floor in our Peter Pan themed bathroom. This has been an ongoing project for the past year or so. One of the reasons it took so long to do was I was so scared that it was going to look horrible and after the failure of the shower surround that I painted I was kinda feeling defeated with this project. BUT it turned out beautifully as you will see in this vlog. I also give you updates of some other projects and things we are doing around the house. We wanted a reading nook in the Beauty & The Beast bedroom because you know how much Belle loves to read. Tiffany thought she could put the chair we got from IKEA together herself but it proved to be pretty dang difficult for one person. Luckily Dave came home from work to help! Tiffany also started doing some sheetrock repair in the master bathroom but then decided to stop because we are not 100% sure what the sheetrock repair people are going to do. If they are going to repair it all for one price we may as well let them do all the work right? We are back for another Home Vlog!! The new attic space needs to be filled and boy did we fill it full of things! We cleaned out all of our closets so that those spaces can be actually used as closets instead of storage for holiday decor. We also cleaned out the small attic space in the ceiling upstairs because that attic space is hard to get into and a pain to get things in and out of. Another BIG update happened in this home vlog!! Our master bathroom got fully demolished and cleared out.
